Looking Ahead: LucidTrac's Plans for 2023
Welcome to our annual review of the upcoming year at LucidTrac! We are grateful for your support over the past year and are excited to share our plans for 2023. This year, we have set specific goals for each fiscal quarter to ensure that we continue to provide the best possible ERP platform for our users. In this blog post, we will be discussing our plans for Q1 through Q4 of 2023 and how these new features and integrations will enhance your experience with LucidTrac.
Q1 - 2023
We are excited to announce that in Q1 of 2023, we will be reintroducing the Projects feature to our ERP platform. It has been at least four years since this feature was available on our platform, and we are thrilled to bring it back for our users. The Projects feature is a simple and easy-to-use project management service that will help you keep track of all your projects in one place, providing a single source of truth for the workflow of any project you track through it. It will integrate seamlessly with our current ERP services, allowing you to manage all aspects of your projects within the platform.
The reintroduction of the Projects feature is a top priority for us, as we know that project management is a crucial aspect of running a successful business. With the Projects feature, you will be able to create and assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress all in one place. This will help you stay organized and ensure that your projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. We have received a lot of requests from our users not to mention our own internal staff for the return of this feature, and we are confident that it will be a valuable addition to our ERP platform. We can't wait for you to try it out in Q1 of 2023.
Q2 - 2023
In Q2 of 2023, we will be introducing direct Gmail integrations into our ERP platform. This will allow you to leverage your Gmail account directly from within the platform, making it easier and more convenient to manage your email communications. The Gmail integrations will be tied into our core features, such as email marketing, Deals, and Services, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your email communications with your other business tasks. We already have integrations with Google Calendar and offer authentication services for single click login. In Q4, we will also have access to Google Authenticator to augment our use of Authy for MFA.
Gmail is a powerful and widely used email service, with features like spam protection, customizable themes, and integration with Google Calendar and Drive. By integrating Gmail directly into our ERP platform, we aim to provide our users with a more seamless and efficient way to manage their email communications. With the Gmail integrations, you will be able to access your email, contacts, and calendar directly from within the platform, saving you the time and effort of switching between multiple tools. We are excited to bring this feature to our users in Q2 of 2023 and believe it will greatly enhance their experience with our platform.
Q3 - 2023
In Q3 of 2023, we will be focusing on laying the groundwork for Microsoft 365 integration services. Microsoft 365 is a comprehensive suite of productivity tools, including email, calendar, and office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Although some of these features are already built into our ERP platform, we recognize that many companies use these services on a daily basis and switching to a new platform can be difficult. That's why we are starting with the integration of your Microsoft 365 calendars, and will then move on to the various other Microsoft 365 services.
By integrating these tools into our ERP platform, we aim to provide our users with a more seamless and efficient way to manage their business tasks. With Microsoft 365 integration, you will be able to access your email, contacts, and calendar directly from within the platform. Once those services have been released we can work on the ability to create and edit documents and spreadsheets for sometime in Q1 of 2024. This will save you the time and effort of switching between multiple tools and provide a single source of truth for your business tasks. We believe that the Microsoft 365 integration services will be a valuable addition to our ERP platform and we are excited to bring them to you in Q3 of 2023.
Q4 - 2023
In Q4 of 2023, we will be finalizing and introducing SHOPS to our ERP platform.
SHOPS will allow you to sell your goods through a single source, streamlining your e-commerce operations and making it easier for your customers to purchase your products. SHOPS will integrate directly into our current Orders, Vendors, and Assets sections, allowing for seamless data transfer between these areas of the platform. This will also allow you to sell both consumable assets and serialized items. Consumable assets are items that do not require checking into inventory with a serial number, such as office supplies or marketing materials. Serialized items, on the other hand, are items that are uniquely identified by a serial number and are typically tracked in inventory.
In preparation for the launch of SHOPS, we have made sure to have at least two authenticator apps working for MFA (multi-factor authentication), those being Authy and Google Authenticator. MFA is an important security measure that helps protect your account from unauthorized access. By offering multiple authenticator options, we aim to provide our users with flexibility and convenience when it comes to securing their accounts.
We are confident that the SHOPS feature will be a valuable addition to our ERP platform and we can't wait for you to try it out in Q4 of 2023. We encourage you to start thinking about how SHOPS can help you grow your business and reach new customers.
